THE ISLAMIZATION OF TEXAS

Nearly 200 people attended the Bastrop County prayer vigil for Charlie Kirk. The event was organized by Bastrop County resident Chase Bradshaw. Volunteers helped with sound, signage, and prayers.
Charlie was a force who put his faith first. He encouraged youth to shed the woke teachings in high schools and colleges. He was murdered on a college campus in the midst of dialog with people who disagreed with him. Charlie didn’t just want to speak to young people, he wanted to speak with young people to give them a point of view they weren’t hearing in these educational institutions. In 2021, the Lost Pines Republican Women sponsored Charlie at an event at the Bastrop Convention Center. Charlie spoke one week before his marriage, a prime example of how hard he worked.

Visit Carol Spencer’s blog to view the video of this event put together by Thomas Nutty. The outpouring of love and gratitude for Charlie’s life around the world is amazing. An event celebrating the life of Charlie will take place on Sunday, September 21. The time is advertised as 11AM in AZ. Texas is 2 hours later, thus 1PM. This event will be live-streamed on Charlie Kirk’s Rumble account.

Thursday, June 19, we welcomed Andy Weir, Executive Director of SAWDF (Simsboro Aquifer Water Defense Fund). All agreed it was an interesting and informative presentation, so we share it here.
David Glass is a lifelong resident of Bastrop County. He is very involved and has served on a variety of boards throughout the community. Glass is the County Commissioner for Precinct 4. He was first elected in 2022 and is up for re-election this year.
Come prepared with your questions about the Greenport Airport Project planned for Bastrop County. This is an airport plus technology center and will be located north of the Colorado River just across the river from Double Eagle, River Crossing, The Forest at Colorado Crossing and other homes located off the Old 71.
While the airport and technology center is located in Precinct 4, the impact will be significant to Precinct 1. The flight path will send planes right over Precincts 1008 & 1009, including Pope Bend Road & Cedar Creek High School.
